I'm pretty much a geek. I play D&D and enjoy computer roleplaying games (hence my membership here :P ) and I read a lot of fantasy novels. My current avatar is from an Anne McCaffrey book. I do have other interests though! I also geek out in science and philosophy, and I love classic literature. My favorite username, transcendentaltree, doesn't fit here, but it should tell about my taste in literature. :D

Your avatar caught my eye because it looked so darn familiar (even though i never saw a picture). I knew it was either from Dragonsong or Dragonsinger (didn't really get into Dragondrum thanks to the switch of main characters.
Anne McCaffrey started me reading fantasy and I think Menolly started me on my love of strong female characters XD
