How do i Chat on earth eternal?

That's probably why a little box (or exclamation point) Pops up to explain this too you when you get that first glove.
Just open your characters window and drag the piece of armor into place from the inventory.
Since 0.8.1 is already out, you can also CTRL+Right-click to equip stuff.

Just make sure you don't have a shop window open, because that still sells stuff. You can buy it back, but with the lag that shop windows generate, it's more of a hassle than it needs to be.
Clear is a real color, and I want it as an option for my character.

As of right now, these are the chats I know of...
To speak region, the dark brownish text, you type: /region <message>
To speak normal, the white text, you type: /say <message>
To speak personal message (whisper), the purple-pink text, you type: /tell :name: <message>
To speak trade, the orangeish yellow text, you type: /trade <message>

With the last patch, you can now just click on the channel name next to something someone said to chat in that channel. And to send PMs, you can just click a person's name.
