CANT PLAY

Okay, so i know that i have to click the 'play now' button so i do. Then it asked me to download and install sparkplayer plugin so i did. But, when it was done it had me click on something to open up the client but it just took me to the websites main page. So i clicked play now again and it asked me to download sparkplayer even though i already had.

 

I am really wanting to play but it wont let me. If anyone can help that would be great. Thanks.

see if you have the Sparkplay Media Folder in you Windows Start Menu. 

There should be a shortcut "Play Earth Eternal". does that work?

Thats the thing though, Ive installed the plug-in but it didnt give me a folder that has the shortcut in it and i cant figure out how to uninstall the program so i can re-install it.

I think if you right click the folder, you will get an options menu where you can click uninstall.

not sure if this will help us pinpointing the problem , but its a possibility.

 hmm, i was kind of "hoping" there was an incompatibility issue that would become apparent here, but that all looks ok..

 

2 points maybe: 1. do you have admin rights on your windows login?

                               2. try upgrading to Service Pack 2... i see you are still on SP1

No, i dont have admin rights on my computer.

 

 

And i will try an upgrade to service pack 2

the lack of admin rights could be the problem here then.

Full instructions on unsinstallation can be found be found in the thread in my signature. Look in the updater/installer not working section.  Also if you read it all the way through, there is no shortcut in the folder. But there is one in the Start Menu, as the game cannot be run from the folder.
