I know this wouldn't rank very high up there on the importance/urgency scale but I think an option/button or even a Credit item should be introduced as a  way to help organize what you have in your backpack/vault. Meaning: Clutter, tokens, weapons/armor, crafting arms, etc would be arranged according to their important to the player or just a default order the Dev's decide upon. It's more a matter of convenience but I think it'd definitely be use full.

this could be helpful but then again if you want to keep something in your bag in a certain area for any reason it wouldnt be a good thing... but i think it would be nice.

Nice idea, but as the above poster said, if you got specific items you ant to keep, place them somewhere in our bag or vault where you want to keep them.

I doubt it's any major hassle to sell the excess and place any kept items in a row, to not get mixed up with excess loot you will further pick up.

Perhaps a misc. category with the option to mark which items you are interested in?

That's pretty much what I do.
