Man, you are a rebel. Especially since you can already change the look and stats of your armor. And weapon refashioning has already been suggested so many times, it's not even funny.
I award you one dead horse, for being such a rebel, and original.

Clear is a real color, and I want it as an option for my character.
Air Bears are alive and well, and this picture proves it. If you don't believe in them, I hope they eat you alive.

Not only did you decided to post your idea without reading a thread that you are obviously aware might be relevant to your suggestion, you also posted an idea that is already implemented, in a sense. Not to say it couldn't be improved upon, but your suggestion is not about how to improve it.
My brain hurts.
To admit of all things that you didn't read a thread that is for exactly that purpose, out of pure.... laziness, justified with "I'm a rebel"....

Air Bears are a lie.
It is in my view that you are taking what I am saying incorrectly. Armor refashioning can be done, but doesen't give the player much customization, much free reign over the aesthetics or stats of the character. I am proposing an engine to let players give a bit to Sparkplay to, in turn, gain that bit of reign over their game.
So you're proposing they design a completely new engine that works with the current gameplay, just so players can customize their armor down to the very last pixel?
As it is, players can already customize the way they look, as long as it's another piece of armor that's in the game. If you want to be able to design the color of every pixel on your character, especially through another engine, good luck. I really don't see how that allows Sparkplay reign over their game.
Designing another engine so players can customize their armor, and weapons would be more work than it's worth. Especially since every refashion would have to be reviewed by a Mod to make sure that people weren't abusing this ability, and making naughty designs on their armor.

That makes more sense. I personally don't think there's enough of a pay-off for that to be worth the trouble and resources it would require, but maybe it's something they would implement eventually.

@Moros- I don't mean a total to-the-pixel custom, i mean choosing an already existing armor/wep, giving it a new colour scheme, maybe having the power for slight tweaks, and custom yet expensive stats

Yeah, 'cause everyone else totally doesn't do that already.

So, basically you're asking for something that's already implemented, and making it completely over powered?
If people could add stats to their armor through credits, the people that pay the most for credits would add the most stats to their armor, as soon as they could, making them obviously overpowered. This is something most people would like to avoid. Including Sparkplay themselves.

I dont know how to convey via text what I truly mean, so I'll be done here. I'm obviously confusing you.

So I decided to be a rebel and post my idea without reading the most suggested items. I think that the game could do well financially by taking the ideas of some private MMO servers; ergo, the ability of players to create their own armor/weaponry based on your preexisting animations, recolour them and change stats, while all being set on a system of payments, be it gold, credits, or credit/debit card. This gives players some control and privilege while creating some sort of revenue for EE itself. I know this idea will be ripped to shreds, but go ahead. I'd like your opinion.
