Mundane Creatures

I see we have Dinosaurs and gigantic butterflies and manic cows--that is, creatures outside of the anthropomorphic ones that we the players play.

What has me wondering, though, is whether there will still be animals like those we know in our day and age. Not humanlike in any way, not influenced by forces deitic or otherwise; plain, everyday birds and mice, for example. I'd imagine that things can get awkward otherwise with such predatorial relations of owls with mice, and such, and it'd be doubtful that animals would just up and vanish when the beasts are released from the groves come mankind's end.

And, please excuse my ignorance of the lore, if my question is answered there. My eyes can't focus on electronic text for too long, and its simply too much to print. I had to settle for some various summaries. >__ <

You know.......never thought of that! There's no mention of them in the history of EE. Must of survied. inscect's yeah sure. Animals. There was a Nuclear War. Some must of survied or where shoved into the groves with the Beasts. What a intresting thought. Seriously. Got me thinking now. Well done there.

D=!

I missed the part about nuclear war!

...

Maybe there are some animals in an underground facility, like a modern Noah's Arc.

And the president and his wife from the time are in some top secret bomb-shelter as well, producing an army of humans for the second coming or something.... > __>;

Heeeeeey...I like where this is going. Not the dirty old fart's, the underground shelter.Hehehe. But then surely some Humans must of survied. Unless they ran out of DNA. But the History did say that the Vampires finshed them all off. But did they. Hmmmm. Yeah think about it.

I always liked killing the harmless little squirrels in WoW, just for fun.

I hope theres stuff like that in EE. xD

Not to mention all the cutesy little mushrooms in Korean MMOs.

And kingdom of Loathing is just... silly. xP

Well it's highly unlikely humans survived because after they vanished the earth was heavily polluted, air and all. Not to mention the humans died off 2000 years from the time EE starts out at and I doubt they could've lasted 2000 years underground so it's unlikely to see a second coming of 'man' but it's an interesting thought. A more likely second coming is the second rule of the vampires or maybe the undead taking over for their first time.

You can call me Poisson or Mr. Kitty (Don't ask -.-). I hope you all see me in game and if you don't well...then I must have put a dagger in your back before you could. Real friends stab you up front, haters stab you in the back, you can see which one I am huh XD

Ah well, wishful thinking I guess, that the humans would have stood a chance at continued existance. 'Course, I'm certain that some of us here wouldn't mind in the slightest--not to give away any names, of course. ; ]

Nuclear holocaust, though... sounds to me that, without Gaia or some other divine forces intervention, the only animals left from our time would be [filtered]roaches, and that doesn't explain the 'mad cow' pic or the giant butterfly, much less appease my wonderings of the smaller creatures! ] =

I'm pretty sure they've mentioned that there will be some normal animals around EE. In fact, I seem to distinctly remember Ivan talking about a rabbit attack animation.
