Patch Notes - Feb. 3rd


Patch 0.8.4

 

Major

 

New Abilities have been added. These are open abilities that any class can purchase. You will also start aquiring skill points at level 3 rather than level 6. The points you gain at level 3 were redistributed from the larger pool of points you originally gained at level 6, so every player still gains the same amount of points. Credit Discounts have been implemented! Certain actions in game will cause an offer to happen where you will be offered a credit shop item at a reduced price.

 

 

Full Changelog:


• Fixed some incorrect Art in Europe

• New Buffs now correctly takes into account your available buff slots.

• Fixed an issue with Spirit Charms giving incorrect values.

• Healing Tendril should now heal for the correct amount.

• Walk in Shadows will now break when using Ranged Attacks.

• Ability tool tips will now refresh without needing to relog.

• Stonehenge will now teleport at the correct time.

• Stonehenge will now only teleport you if you are queued and within range.

• Deadly Shot ability description changed to reflect charge cost.

• Talismans no longer referred to as “Arcane Totem” in loot windows.

• Frost Spear and Flame Spear abilities will now do proper damage to enemies at max range.

• Health bar now fills to 100% after applying a Constitution potion.

• Tutorial text for Armor Refashioner has been fixed to fit in text window.

• Fixing the boat on the Tutorial island now requires you to right click on it.

• Morphing the same item in Refashioner will no longer cause one of those items to disappear.

• Swapping same items in Refashioner no longer causes a duplicate UI.

• Pressing skill keys while reviving no longer will cause breaks in the UI.

• Players can no longer bind in instances.

• Changed the name of the Druid starting robe.

• Fixed an exploit that allowed shields/totems and 2hand weapons to be held at the same time.

• Bind spell cool down is no longer refreshed by log out.

• Players under a regen effect will no longer broadcast they have been healed when at full health.

• Fixed an issue with Casting Bar not disappearing after a reset.

• Unstick command now takes you to nearest sanctuary rather than bind point.

• Special offer triggers implemented.

• Fixed an issue with certain hats or helmets attaching to the wrong area of your character.

• Fixed an issue causing the Light Armor ability to not switch on instantly after purchase.

• Addressed an issue causing some mobs to snap up in the air after being attacked.

• Fixed an issue where Right-Click would sometimes not initiate auto-attack.

• Auto-attacking now stops immediately when using channelled casting.

• You now start receiving ability points at level 3.

• Luck stat is no longer displayed as a percentage.

• Items or abilities that modify stats will now give bonuses to recipients with low stats.

• Ability purchase screen has been redone.

• Concussion ability descriptions now refresh properly.

• Fixed a bunch of spellning arrors.

• Lord A’Frott’s Chest will now spawn properly.

• Chest armor items with robe in the name now labeled as “Vestment”

• Quest: The Sound of Thunder should now have easier to find tablets.

• Windblown Bow now looks like a bow instead of a staff.

• Fixed discrepancy between UI pop-up and in-game effects of the Rebirth revive option.

• You can now complete “The Scratching Post” even while under the effects of Spiked Toad Stew.

• Spiketail Juggernauts now drop the correct items.

• Shadows: The Ruins of Tall Stand now has the proper quest marker.

• Rhine Tail Ale no longer has a disappearing quest marker.

• Quest “Tasty Warts” now completes after the correct amount items have been gathered.

• Quest “Strange Occurrences: Plants and Skeletons” return marker is now in the correct place.

• Farmer Felps' Tools location is now hinted at in the quest text.

 

New Abilities Added:

  • Added “Concussion” Knight Ability
  • Added “Impact Shot” Rogue Ability
  • Added “Frostbolt” Mage Ability
  • Added “Cryo Blast” Mage Ability
  • Added “Reflective Ward” General Ability
  • Added “Deathly Dart” General Ability

• Prompt to purchase bag space when inventory full.

• There should now only be ONE type of Dustshore Antlions (There can be only one!!)

• Removed a rogue Turkatrice that had escaped.

• Added a quest to introduce the credit shop to newbie tutorial.

• Heirloom Axe is now a 2 handed weapon.

• Haunted Grove Dungeon now has sanctuary.

• Healing hand now generates correct amount of magic charges.

• Moonlighter’s Boots now have the correct inventory graphic.

• Spawn timer for Jewelry Box on the quest Scallywag Thieves has been reduced significantly.

• Corrected name of Rhinebruin caps.

• Uncle Benny’s Totem now displays correct stats.

• “Stolen Locket” quest now is at the proper level.

• “Spiketail Juggernauts” quest has updated markers.

• Enemies should now wall climb a lot less.

• Fixed Collision on Rear Wall of Captured Keep.

• Fixed Collision on Eastern bridge of Camelot.

• Certain creatures now have new sounds effects when attacking.

 


*Note: We have identified an issue where deleting the character in your 4th character slot will not cause your “Create Character” button to enable again as intended. You can fix this by logging out of the game and logging back in.

Thanks for posting these.  Was just about to ask in another thread if they were posted somewhere I wasn't seeing.

 

So much goodness in this patch.  Can't wait to get back in game.  Love to see all the bug fixes.

 

• Unstick command now takes you to nearest sanctuary rather than bind point.  As a person that does this at least twice a day,  I can't express how much this makes me happy.

One time only or will we be prompted everytime the action occurs?

 Clear is a real color, and I want it as an option for my character.
