Hi All,
The current credit shop does not encourage game players to invest in larger cash purchases. All credit purchases give you a 10% bonus when you go above $5.00.
Example: You pay $25 for 2500 credits + 250 bonus (10% bonus) and for $250, you get 25000 credits + 2500 bonus credits for a total of 27500 credits (Again 10% bonus)
So this does not encourage me to spend higher value in a lump sum. I can spend $10.00 here, $10.00 there when I want, but if I really wanted to dump $250.00 into the game, it does not give me any more bonus than 25 x $10.00 transactions ( $10=1100 credits) so 25 transactions x 1100 credits = 27500 credits.
Why not make it a increasing ratio. It could be a sliding scale of some kind. I am just eyeballing this suggestion here to give an idea. Below we're increasing the percentage 10% for ever doubling of the total payment.
Example
$5 = 500
$10 = 1000 + 10% = 1000 + 100 = 1100
$25 = 2500 + 20% = 2500 + 500 = 3000
$50 = 5000 + 30% = 5000 + 1500 = 6500
$100 = 10000 + 40% = 10000 + 4000 = 14000
$200 = 20000 + 50% = 20000 + 10000 = 30000
So the above example would encourage me to spend larger sums to get points instead of a slow steady payment.
Right now I have no reason/want to spend $250.00 on the game when I can spend $10 a week for the next 25 weeks and get the same in-game value.
Just my two cents.. or is it $200....
