Vile Brilliance

Vile Brilliance is a new combat-based clan looking for members. We enjoy dungeons, quests, and long walks in the PvP arena.

Purpose: Training ourselves for the upcoming release of PvP.

Alignment: Lawful Evil.

Goals: Obviously, to be the most successful PvP clan on the planet, and assist our members in quests and gathering equipment whenever necessary. Aside from that, I'd like to amass information regarding which skills, builds, and combat tactics are the most effective, particularly in PvP scenarios and group combat.

Roleplay: Not necessary, but feel free.

Requirements: Willingness to participate in PvP on behalf of the clan.

Rules: Don't harass anyone and have fun.

How to join: Post here, send me a PM, apply at our website or send me a tell in game (my character is "Slask Sirtren").

Allies: Bloody Retribution.

What exactly do you mean by "No furries allowed"?

You obviously don't mean no zoomorphic races, considering you play them yourself...

I'm not referring to the character, I'm referring to the player.

My character is anthropomorphic, but I am not a furry.

But what makes you not a furry?

As far as wikipedia can tell me:

"Furry fandom refers to the fandom for fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics. Furry fandom is used to refer to the community of artists, writers, role players and general fans of the furry art forms."

So if you are role playing an anthropomorphic character, or at least, if you are a fan of role playing as an anthropomorphic character, doesn't that make you a furry?

It would. But I do not roleplay.

But you say you allow roleplaying in your guild?

Just because their character is anthropomorphic doesn't mean it has anything to do with their roleplay. I don't expect anyone to roleplay in a PvP clan unless it's mandatory to initiate PvP like in some of the IRE games, honestly. If they do roleplay, I'll expect it to be more about their demeanor, beliefs and attitude than of how much they look like an animal, which is a foregone conclusion and doesn't need to be explicitly stated considering nearly everyone else in the game also looks like an animal.

tl;dr don't think you can get away with saying "*purr*" on a mercenary clan's clan channel just because you're a Feline.

Okay, just trying to find out where you draw the line. So does that mean you can roleplay your characters only as long as you ignore their animal attributes? Or is that more of a, "I will decide how much furry is too furry, based on my own personal expectations."?

It's "If you don't need to read wikipedia to know you're a furry, don't join."
