Dolphins are one of the only species known for killing other creatures for "fun". Humans also being another... Nothing against them because the are freaking sweet anyways...
Dolphins are also one of the only other species that will commit rape and incest on a regular and frequent basis. Bottlenose Dolphins, in particular, are a very sexually aggressive species.

I know where to find you, I will find you, I know who you are, and the part of me that wants you dead makes you very unlucky.
That reminds me of the Killer Whales (which I think are technically a kind of dolphin) smacking sea lions around with their tails.
Another one of the animals I particularly like is the albatross. They're pretty interesting.
I also like cats.

Yes, orcas belong to the dolphin family of whales (toothed whales, I believe).
They also have the distinction of being one of the few animals who teach their young through indirect methods, or lessons that in themselves don't mean much. For that matter, active teaching in itself is rare, compared to just letting their young mimic their elders.

They are. They are the largest members of the Dolphin family. Playful things, too. Of course what you consider play and what they consider play are probably not the same thing. Ask a sealion.

No, while the Dolphin is a Cetacean, it is NOT a whale. Whales are an entirely separate branch of the Cetacean family.

Cetacea is an order, not a family. Otherwise it might be a translation issue, as Cetacea translates into the Swedish word for whale.

Although I'm planning to make a taurine character
my favorite animal is wolf or hyena, others canines, geckos and planaries (because their bug eyes, like mine) are cool too...

I'm not sure if you meant to imply that or not, but a hyena isn't a canine.

Yes, bad choice of words, and wow, I did not know that.

GEORGE!!! :D
I love those guys. We had them last summer. We went to this amusment park and they were EVERYWHERE. It was awesome, because people would scream and run away from them. But we would just pick them up and say "Hi George" and let them fly away.... I miss them. D:
Anyway, I like cats, dogs, raccoons, badgers, and rats, just to name a few. I like lots of animals, though.
And Cicadas. :3
