Howdy Everyone,

As a Community Manager, people seem to enjoy asking me a lot of questions. I'm often on the hot spot and it can be a little nerve wracking knowing that what you write will potentially be viewed by the entire internet (remember I said potentially).

So today Piggypops is pulling the old switcheroo. Introducing the "Earth Eternal Community Spotlight" a new feature in which I interview some of your fellow community members and grill them on today's hot topics.

For our inaugural edition of "Earth Eternal Community Spotlight" we are happy to bring out Neofito, a well known and much loved figure in the Earth Eternal Community.

We recently got a chance to sit down and chat with Neofito. Here's what he had to say:

Tells us where you're from:

This one is easy, I'm from Spain.
 

How did you hear about Earth Eternal?

I was looking for a new (free/payment options) MMORPG with multiclass option and
underpinned by a serious and well known company, fortunately I found EE, it was January or February 2007.
 

Tell us a little about your hobbies:

Reading:adventure, science fiction, horror, detective story;any literary genre that is fun and not very deep.

When I was a child I remember of reading most of the "Famous five" saga, with this books I learned that english adjectives do not have gender.

The first "serious" book I read was:"Roots: The Saga of an American Family", after this came many more, but I must confess that "El Quijote" is not one of them, and even more, at this time I have reading quite abandoned.

Movies:I like all types, periods, Black&White or Color;some of the films I've most liked could be:
"The quiet man", "Smoke", "Shrek", "Rocky/Rambo (the first ones of the sagas)", "The Sting", "Lord of the Rings", "Matrix", "The Hustler", "The Man Who Knew Too Much",
"Paint your Wagon", "Arsenic and Old Lace", etc, etc, etc........

Television:News bulletins, television serials:begining by "The A Team" continuing with "Northern Exposure" and ending wit "Losts".

Computers:All and nothing, I like to experiment with new programs and applications, but I am not an expert.

Sports:I'm that kind of person who sees them, rather than those who practice;I played a little frontenis, but I had to leave due to injury.

What class and race do you want to play in Earth Eternal?

Race:Almost sure I'll be Atavian since they looks great and its origins are in the Tartessian Peninsula.

Class:I need to know the final design of classes and multiclass system, but I've always liked bows and magic. EE is new world/universe/game ready to be discovered, and I hope/wish to have the opportunity to be among the firsts guys to do so.

What's the story behind your screen name and profile pic?

The name>>Neofito means newbie (who has recently joined a group or cause) but giving this term a certain aura of mystery.
I chosse this name because we never have to think that we know everything about everything, there is always something that remains for us to know, and about what we are newvies.
Therefore I'll be always a newvie (Neofito) at EE, because I'll be learning new things about EE everyday.

The pic>> It's an avi that I made for the forum of the first MMORPG that I played, and since then I've always used the same;all its elements have some significance, but I will not go into that at the moment. For EE forums I´ve edited a bit the size and distribution of the elements, in order to made the avi fix better with the features of EE Forums.

I'm not so wise.

Hmmm I'm going to guess Semfir, Church, Cliff, Basselope yadayada people from the old forum.

I'm not fun to be interviewed, as I like to be secretive. It would likely be rather brief. Unless I start off on a tangent...

Very nice interview, and nice to get to know you Neofito.

I would like to say one thing about Neofito. When he came to the forums, on the old ones, his language wasn't very good. Not because of laziness, but because he simply hadn't learned English that well. However, he struggled on, and tried to improve his writing all the time. Now, as you can see, he's got a fairly decent grasp of the language, and is in my eyes one of the top members of this community.
