Deep, original storyline. Set in a world where mankind no longer exists, the game incorporates a blend of original fiction, mythologies from Norse to Egyptian, and classic fairy tales into an epic, sweeping story.

Vast, 3D landscape. EE's large, handcrafted world, based on a very fictionalized version of Earth, gives players plenty of room to explore. they'll find lush forests, barren deserts, snowy mountains, underground dungeons and caves, murky swamps, seaside villages, and more.

Virtual goods. Players can purchase, for real world currency, Sparkplay 'credits.' Those credits can be spent on various cosmetic and fucntional advantages. They can also, on currency exchange we maintain, trade those credits for in-game currency (gold/silver/copper) with other players. This allows all players to achieve anything in the game, whether they pay or not.

Multi-Class. Unlike most MMOs, players are not limited to skills and spells from a particular class. They can select abilities from other classes as well to either go deep or board in their character builds.

Classic Combat. EE's combat system rewards both individual and group play. It involves some level of auto-attacking as well as individually activated abilities. No matter what combination of abilities players have taken, they'll build up 'melee charges' and 'magic charges' with certain abilities and then use those charges to unleash proverbial hounds on their enemies (who are legion).
